Episode 010: Chevelle
Chevelle rocked all their hits on Saturday night inside Revention Center in downtown Houston. It’s been well over a decade now since the three piece band exploded on the rock scene, and judging by the packed out venue, there was no denying that Houston has quite the Chevelle following. Fans showed up for hardcore rock on Saturday December 2nd, and that’s exactly what they got. The guys took the stage just after 9:30pm, bringing with them one hell of a music and lights show.
For nearly the whole set, Chevelle jammed their rock and never stopped. There was little crowd interaction but it didn’t stop anyone from holding back. Rockers young and old screamed on top of their lungs among a noticeable number of rocker couples. One thing was for sure: everyone seemed to be diggin’ the music. The lyrics became so real, and so did the headcount inside Revention Center. The place was packed and full of positive energy. The vibrant color and light patterns, paired with powerful projections, were the perfect compliment to the blaring music that had everyone locked in.
