About how many tattoos do you do a day?: I usually tattoo one Large scaled piece a day, sometimes 2
How long have you been tattooing?: I started my apprenticeship at the age of 12 under my father Joel Torres (pops). Allowing me to do my first tattoo 15 years ago.
Ever tattooed anyone famous?Who?: I have not tattooed anyone famous
Any "nightmare" tattoo experiences? Tell us about it!: I do remember one of the tattoo nightmare experiences of when this guy and girl walked into the shop to get tattooed, I was going to tattoo the girl and our Apprentice ,my brother Craig Torres (Money) was going to tattoo the guy.
We begin to start the tattoos, as I’m tattooing the girl.... she asked for a break, so as we are all walking off. We see the girl and guy walk into the lobby .... all we hear is the girl yell “WHY WOULD YOU GET MY NAME TATTOOED ON YOU WE ARE NOT EVEN TOGETHER!”..... as I was doing a coverup on her of another guys name!
Craziest tattoo or tattoo location?: From all the tattoo locations i have ever tattooed I’d have to say the bridge of the nose is the most awkward placement
Favorite part of the body to tattoo?: Favorite part of the body to tattoo is the thigh
Least favorite tattoo location or type?: My least favorite tattoo location is the fingers
How long have you followed Texas Inked Magazine?: I have been following Texas Inked Magazine since 2014/2015
Do you listen to music while you work? What kind? Fave artist?: I like to listen to chill hop, jazz hop, and any music that comes from my city Houston Tx. Also Old school Hip-Hop to lowrider oldies. And if I’m not listening to music while I’m tattooing then I’m definitely listening to motivational speeches from Eric Thomas and other great successful speakers.
What is something other artists do that makes you cringe?: It makes me cringe when I see a tattoo artist clean a freshly done tattoo with a paper towel while wearing no gloves.
Do you have any other artistic abilities?: Painting, drawing with my color pencils, pen and dot work , Makeup art and microblading/microshading permanent makeup
Won awards for your work? What one is the most meaningful to you?: My most meaningful tattoo award is my first award I won in 2015. Since I first started my apprenticeship that was a goal, was to be an award winning artist. So I gave it a shot on my first try for an award and i received a 1st place for best watercolor , I put so much love and soul into that watercolor self portrait.
Who do you hope to tattoo one day?: I hope one day I will be able to tattoo my Grandmother (mom). Because she comes from a generation where tattoos were not really accepted.
Favorite tattooed model?: Favorite tattooed model is Vida Baye
Hobbies outside of the art industry?: I do enjoy my hobbies outside of the art industry. Like shopping, I enjoy traveling and outdoor activities with my family, sports like riding my Longboard and playing basketball, MMA, BJJ, swimming and softball.
Tell us something only a few people know about you?: Only a few people know I did my first MMA cage fight in the octagon in Roswell NM at the age of 15

Which of your own tattoos means the most to you? Who's the artist?: I recently got my most meaningful tattoo, a memorial tattoo for my Baby Daughter Scarlett Rose Torres , a tattoo of the El Paso star and mountains , Tattooed by Ernesto Lopez, connected next to a piece I tattooed on myself of a honeycomb that represents my family,
